Applicant must desire a position in a thriving, well-established, independent private audiology practice with offices in Southern and Central Virginia in the Cities of Danville and Lynchburg. Danville has a population of 45,000 with a surrounding county population of 250,000, and Lynchburg has a population of approximately 65,000 with a surrounding county population of 150,000. (Driving distances from Danville and Lynchburg, respectively: .75hrs/1.75hrs to Greensboro, NC; 1.5hrs/3hrs to Raleigh/Durham, NC; 2hrs/.75hrs to Roanoke, VA; 2.5hrs/2.5hrs to Richmond, VA; and 4.5hrs/3.5hrs to Washington DC).
Our clinics provide full-service audiology with hearing aid fitting and dispensing, industrial hearing services, as well as diagnostic audiology, including ENG, VEMP, ABR, OAE, ECochG and pediatric evaluations. Our offices dispense digital technology from major manufacturers using networked Noah. Our referral base includes: wide range of physician specialty groups, patient referrals, and self-referrals.

Audiology Hearing Aid Associates
Audiology Hearing Aid Associates was established by Danny W. Gnewikow, Ph.D., Audiologist. Dr. Gnewikow, upon receiving his degree from Vanderbilt University, established his practice in Danville in 1974 and opened a second office in Lynchburg in 1980. Audiology Hearing Aid Associates was the first completely independent audiology practice offering both diagnostic and hearing aid services in Virginia and is now one of the largest audiology practices on the East Coast. This practice includes a wide range of diagnostic, clinical, and rehabilitation services including pediatric and neonatal audiology, hearing aid fitting and dispensing, diagnostic evaluation for hearing and balance disorders, and industrial hearing conservation and noise consultations. The staff consists of 6 audiologists and 11 support personnel.
